Turn it down as low as you possibly can without needing to up your glasses prescription. On my Vaio, I can select from one of 8 levels. During one test, at brightness level 3 my system reported 60% full, with 3:52 (all times are hours:minutes) of life to go. I switched up to level 5 and in 17 minutes of use, I was down to 52% full, with 3:06 to go. In other words, 17 minutes used 46 minutes worth of D5318 (all other variables were held constant). You can even be so bold as to lower your brightness all the way down when sitting idle for a minute or two (for example, if you are writing a long blog post and pause to clarify your thoughts before typing). Don¡¯t use any external devices. USB and PC-Cards (aka PC-MCIA) use your battery to function, even when you aren¡¯t using them! Have an EVDO card or maybe a USB mouse? Remove them if you can.... I have something to look forward to, from the ordering of goods – waiting for shipment – offering the items – then collections. It shifts the dull routine of office works and more importantly gives me additional bucks. My items are usually ladies’ accessories imported from my country. Thanks to the efforts of one of my dearest friend who happens to know a supplier for these stuffs. I met a lady who comes from the same city with me who has various items like make-up, bags, clothings, and etc. She is my source too. I’m glad I have a very strong network of friends who offers my stuffs to their friends which makes selling so easy. I never do the hard selling and no pressures at all. Day 1
So today is Day 1 and it seem's I'm off to a good start. I'm sorry to those who to saw the photos on Twitpic and they were like slanted and stuff and you have to tilt your head and everything but you can rotate the photos when you view them as well so stfu. HAHAHA lol. Today was so fxxking hot. People towards the Eastern Suburbs, please dont' complain as the West was much hotter. Didn't do much the whole day. But later towards the evening.. Victor, Hua, Bianca, Sally and I decided to go watch New Moon at Parramatta Events Cinemas. It was a ridiculously shit movie. We then ate dinner/snack and chilled at City Extra. Their prices for food are sooooo expensive. Don't go there, I know most of you have but don't ever go there again. Anyways, here are some photos I took. Bianca at her best!
